NuCO2 Introduces BeerBlastTM

Ensure superior tasting Draft Beer and Maximize your bottom line profitability at the same time. We’ll show you how!

Quality Draft Beer Your Guests Expect
Your guests expect great tasting, high quality draft beer in your establishment. To achieve this, you need a consistent, reliable supply of pure Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Nitrogen (N2) mixed in the right proportion for the draft beer of choice.

Brew Masters spend their entire careers perfecting the right mix of quality ingredients to make the perfect beer. We understand that beer operators do not have the time to perform this arduous task during a hectic day. BeerBlastTM takes the time, effort and guesswork out of blending the perfect beer and helps you get back to what’s most important to you – your customers!

The Right Mix of CO2 to N2 is Critical to Producing a Great Tasting Draft Beer and Protecting Profitability
The right mix of CO2 to N2 is typically 60/40 for Domestic and Lager Beers and a 25/75 blend for Guinness to “push” a quality beer to the tap. An improper blend of beer will cause wasted products and kegs to be changed out prematurely or may cause the beer to become flat. The costs per month are significant and the revenues you can claim back in a year are staggering.

While we understand that there are a few alternatives that can be used to “push” beer to the tap, these alternatives produce inferior draft beers, unhappy customers, and reduce the significant profit potential that your beer operation can yield.

Here’s what can happen when using the wrong gas or improper blend to “push” your beer to the tap:

  1. The results of using 100% CO2 to “ push” beer to the tap.
    1. Over-carbonated beers
    2. Longer pour times for your employees
    3. Complaints from customers about suds or foamy beer
    4. Employees believe kegs are empty and change kegs too quickly
    5. Kegs that are changed out too early dramatically decrease your profit margins

  2. The results of using blended 25/75 beer gas cylinders
    1. This causes under-carbonation, causing beer served to your customer to be flat
    2. Complaints from customers about flat, unappealing and poor quality beers
    3. Due to flat beer, revenue may diminish without you even knowing it since customers may not ask for another beer or switch to bottled beer

  3. Compressed Air Blended with CO2
    1. Oxygen ruins the flavor of the beer
    2. Promotes bacteria in beer lines
    3. Picks up odors from the surroundings
    4. Complaints from customers that the beers are flat and taste poor
    5. Employees change kegs with beer still remaining in the keg
    6. Kegs that are changed to quickly yield lower profit margins

How The BeerBlastTM System Works
The BeerBlastTM System generates its own Nitrogen from the air and blends it with the correct ratio of CO2*. The BeerBlastTM system not only produces the sufficient quantity of Nitrogen simply generated from the air, but as needed, provides three precise mixtures of gas to meet your kegged product requirements.

The BeerBlastTM System is light and compact and fits neatly on a wall. Moreover, the BeerBlastTM system is easy to install and boasts the highest system reliability in the industry. All BeerBlastTM Systems installed have experienced 100% success. The BeerBlastTM System also includes a patented leak detection system for your peace of mind.

*We recommend using NuCO2’s bulk CO2 system in conjunction with the BeerBlastTM system to ensure the highest quality mixed gas.

BeerBlastTM Leak Detection System
The patented BlastOffTM Leak Detection System will detect leaks within the downstream gas lines from the BeerBlastTM to the kegs. Line leaks could be due to a keg not being tapped correctly, a beer gas line failing, regulator malfunction, etc. These leaks are potential safety hazards and deplete the gas powering the system. With this warning mechanism, it eliminates any downtime by notification of a leak when it occurs.

Once a leak has been detected, BeerBlastTM can be set to initiate an audible buzzer or activate a warning light and/or shut off the BeerBlastTM System until the problem has been remedied.
