The XactN2 15.0 and 4.0 systems are versatile, wall-mounted Nitrogen Generators that create nitrogen from ambient air and store it in a vessel at a minimum purity of 99.7%. Both systems provide the draught beer-grade nitrogen necessary to power a high-pressure draught beer system, delivering the perfect pint without added carbonation.
Nitrogen generators separate nitrogen from the other air components on-site at your establishment, eliminating the need for nitrogen cylinders. This process results in a gas with a maximum of 0.3% oxygen content that is in contact with the beer and is compliant with standards established by the American Brewers Association. This high purity level is a crucial component to serving the end-user a draught beverage that tastes just as the brewery, vineyard, and roaster intended. NuCO2's XactN2 generators have a peak performance output of 15 SCFH of nitrogen or the ability to dispense almost 24 kgs in a 5-hr period.

The kind of wall preferred would be a wall constructed of metal or wood studs that measure either 16” or 24” on center, solid concrete/block, or solid wood with a minimum of 5/8” thickness such as plywood. The generator must be mounted no higher than 40” from the floor and no lower 18” from the floor, anything higher or lower than these requirements would need to be approved by Safety.
The XactN2 generator can not be installed in a cooler room. The generator can be installed in an enclosed area with proper ventilation and temperature control.
The generator runs to refill the storage tank depending on the customer’s usage. There is no set time as to how long the generator will run. When it runs, it is not loud enough to disrupt business. Usually, the generator is installed in the back away from the customers.
